Un rappel de grande envergure touche certains modèles de RadioMétéo d'Oregon Scientific,mais,cependant,aucun modèle vendu au Canada ne semble affecté,mais,si vous l'avez commandé de leur site Web,ou d'Ambient Weather,vous devriez vérifier ... le no de modèle est inscrit à l'arrière,et voilà le courriel que j'ai reçu en début d'après-midi ....

Objet NOTICE OF VOLUNTARY RECALL PROGRAM FOR WEATHER ALERT RADIOS

Dear Valued Customer:

Thank you for being a valued customer of Oregon Scientific. Records indicate that you may have purchased an Oregon Scientific Weather Alert Radio. We have learned of a bug in the software that prevents certain radios that were distributed between December 2005 and June 2007 from receiving the National Weather Service alert signals in a limited number of counties located in certain states in the U.S. If you own one of the affected radios and are located in or use your radio in one of the affected states, you should stop using your radio and contact Oregon Scientific to receive instructions concerning how to return the radio for a replacement.

The model numbers for the four affected radios are:

? WR103NX

? WR108

? WRB308

? WRB308J

Please note that the WR103, WR102 and WR196T models are not affected.

The following states have at least some counties affected:

Alabama Iowa Nebraska South Dakota

Arkansas Kansas New Jersey Tennessee

California Kentucky New York Texas

Colorado Louisiana North Carolina Virginia

District of Columbia Maryland North Dakota Washington

Florida Michigan Ohio West Virginia

Georgia Minnesota Oklahoma Wisconsin

Idaho Mississippi Pennsylvania

Illinois Missouri Puerto Rico

Indiana Montana South Carolina

The following states have no counties affected, and the four models will work as designed throughout these states:

Alaska Hawaii New Hampshire Utah

Arizona Maine New Mexico Vermont

Connecticut Massachusetts Oregon Wyoming

Delaware Nevada Rhode Island
