À Laval, la rivière des Mille-Îles a dépassé son niveau critique.
Des centaines de résidences pourraient être touchées par des inondations au cours des prochaines heures.
La Sécurité civile précise que le couvert de glace est très important sur ce cours d'eau, ce qui augmente les risques de débordement. Ce couvert est de 35 à 40 centimètres d'épaisseur à certains endroits.
